What should I wear for the Wedding at Registry?

I booked in for the registration of marriage at Brisnbae George street venue....(just there to sign the names and ge the certificate)... Does anyone know what to wear? It's kinda easy for guys ...just turn up in suit and tie....how about for ladies? Any Formal dress will do? It's not anything big, therefore didn't want to make a big fuzz about it... Please give me your suggestions and past experience. Thanks all.

just wear a comfortable white blouse and skirt.
i got married the first time at the registrars office and wear a beautiful peach dress. any color will do if u dont want to wear white.
if you want to stick with the traditional white, target.com has beautiful wedding attire, thanks to issac mizrahi. he also has a BM line that you could try if you want some color. all pieces are under $100. you can also check out filene's, macys, jcpenny, etc. for formal wear. IMO, i think a simple but elegant dress or pant suit is nice. good luck!
I think a nice suit would be appropriate. Maybe a matching hat.
