Women Wedding Suits

Any genius ladies with an eye for style?

My wedding is all white with tiffany blue accents and a tiny bit of silver in the centerpieces. My bridesmaids are wearing tiff blue cocktail dresses with a white sash. What color would you put the men? Black or grey suits?? My wedding is in May. The wedding is around 6:30pm The wedding is around 6:30pm If I opt for the grey, it would be a dark grey, not light or medium.

  1. neither. how bout white suits and blue ties that match the bridesmaids dresses.
  2. Well, you could use either but I think the black would be a bit crisper and cleaner with the other colors you have chosen.
  3. Sounds kinda like my colors for my wedding. The groomsmen wore black suits with blue vests and the groom wore a black suit with a white vest.
  4. Most definitely black to offset the blue and white.
  5. I think grey would look great. Black would work just fine as well though. Please do NOT put your groomsmen in white suits or tuxedos, that look didn't work when it was in style.
  6. I would do black with white shirts and tiffany blue ties
  7. Black is much more classic and would pair better with the Tiffany blue.
  8. All of the colors you have mentioned are sharp and crisp, so I would go with the black for sure, as it will of set the colors better. At the tux place we used I believe they had tiffany blue vests and ties. Good Luck!
  9. What time of day is the wedding? If it's a daytime wedding, I'd opt for the grey suits with Tiffany blue trim; night wedding I'd opt for black tails and again the Tiffany blue trim. But that's ME. It really depends on what YOU want. May I suggest you take a dress (or at least a swatch) to the tux shop and compare the color of the dress against the tux choices and see which one you like better?
  10. I would say go with black. It will make the Tiff blue pop! And if you used gray suits, it would look too 80's and out dated.
  11. Definitely Gray, preferably light gray or medium. This plays a bit with the silver accents.
  12. I don't know. I see everybody putting black and I thought about it--it would look sharp. But with that tiffany blue I really think grey would be more romantic and subdued. It would also not be as harsh with the white as the traditional black/white theme. Go for something different and go with grey!
  13. Grey morning suits are what's in style right now. I'm doing research for my own wedding and all the places i go to are really into grey or brown suits. Personally i think grey is a wonderful colour on men, it just looks yummy!
  14. Black definitely black, it would look great with the tiffany blue tie and more formal than light colored suits. Maybe even do blue shirts with a matching blue tie and then the all black suit, very sharp. CONGRATS!! GOOD LUCK!!
  15. Unless it is a dark gray, like charcoal, you should just go with black. A light gray will clash and not look good againstt the Tiff blue dress.
  16. i go with black, men look great in black suits
  17. I would go with the black. The black will be a nice contrast to your colors and will compliment and showcase the colors better. Pair it with a blue vest and it'll look great.
  18. You should go for black. It is the most classic look. You can not go wrong with black.
  19. i really think that either would work but i would personally use the grey your best bet is to take a sample of the blue or bring one of the dresses and see which color it looks best with
  20. I think dark grey would work best. To me, black is just standard, dark grey is more stylish. Good luck :)
  21. BLACK!! Classic and elegant. Looks good with everything.
  22. A nice charcoal grey would set everything off just right, since it's May.
