Women Wedding Suits

Girls - I need advice on what to wear for my best friends wedding , can you help !???

I haven't attended a wedding in donkey's years - the last time I did though, I was only 8 and my mother grabbed my hand, threw my shy little butt into the back of her car and drove me to a respectable store that catered for tailor made suits :-| All the ladies, girls at the wedding both from the groom and brides side were like 'aww hes so cute and handsome for a little man in a suit' , but i kid you not, i hated wearing that damn thing. Oh okay, i went to my cousins wedding in 2002, I wore a plain white silk shirt with a tie and black trousers that day. So that makes it 2 weddings. So, here I am, eager to find out from you ladies - whats hip and whats not. i READ/HEARD that one should avoid wearing a black suit at a wedding, as its the type of suit you'd wear at a business meeting or a funeral heh. 'They' tell me to wear a handsome gray one instead. does colour matter ? also ladies, tell me if I should wear a plain shirt under the blazer with a simple tie, or should I go for a waist coast and tie and then the blazer on top ? is that the current trend ? what about all this 'rose in chest pocket' business ? does that matter ? do you NOTICE that and go 'omg hes got a rose in his pocket hehehe' or should I turn up wearing a scary Sir Alan Sugar kind of suit ? plus the stubble ? lol ? please please please , its YOUR opinions/advice that I seek, my mate told me to turn up wearing a kilt. And its his bloody wedding. cheeky sod. get back to me on this one sweethearts.

1. hello, sir, you make me laugh. it's so sweet that you care so much. black suits are typically not... right. but i've seen it done. i think black's more for the groom though. gray suit would be really nice... no tuxedoes!!! roses on the pockets are for prom. just wear a suit, with a nice, maybe bright, button up shirt. and a tie. do you know who stacy and clinton are? make them proud. wear some color. you don't wanna look like a raincloud.
2. Wear grey trousers, matching blazer, a white shirt or one that's white with thin blue stripes, and a coordinating tie - no waistcoat and flower unless your best man. If you're best man then wear a waistcoat and rose of the friend's choice! (But don't let him make you wear a kilt - no so into them! lol) Hope it's a great day - i would say "don't drink too much" but that's the point of your best mate's wedding, isn't it?! Xx
3. y dun u wear sumthing difrnt i dun understnd y ol men r in suits..... i mean y b one of the crowd.... wear sherwani or a nice shirt wid sm loose fiting jeans............. a white shirt wid pink strips luks riliii gud wid frist few buttons left unbuttoned........ i kno its goin to luk casual but wear ur attitude n dun b lyk evry1 els.... wid a gud pair of shoes...... uuuhhhhh ya kno jus one of the CroWd

Depending on what the wedding style is...fancy or not....would help...but....Go check out the dress shirts.....Most guys don't wear white dress shirts anymore....Guys are in colors now and look great!! Check out the guys dress in jc Penny's or where ever..... Depending what color looked good on you ....skin tone ..hair....typical stuff Go with a colored shirt black pants or slate gray is really nice on guy's.....quite Hot !! Don't worry about asking questions.....some guys will know what to look for........Women have no trouble tell you the truth in what color really looks great on you.......Sooner you do it the better....And if you think you should wear a tie.....ask which one would look good with the colored shirt you picked out.......But, a lot of guys don't wear ties to weddings ....again depending on the wedding.....But , you can always pull it off and put it in a pocket Look Hot!!!
5. well i never been to a wedding so i really dont know but i will sugest that even though you would wear a black suit to a business meeting or a funeral you should wear a black pair of suit pants and a nice white shirt with a collar and buttons down the front but make sure it doesn't have a v neak because they look really grose on men like in the link below. for the first link i would sugest you pick either the first pair (black) which look really nice with a really nice bright white or the shirt and a nice tie preferably pink it will look good trust me or the 5th pair their grey but in the photo they look more black. and for the second link i think this shirt looks really nice it's a good dress shirt to go with the dark grey pants. if you don't like the blue then go with white. but try not to look better then the groom haha... well i hope this helps you :) good luck with it!!!
