Going to a wedding. My lady is wearing a burnt orange dress. Does a black suit, black shirt, orange tie work?
I'm not in the wedding party. We are guests. The tie would be more burnt orange along with the black suit and black shirt. Is this too "fashion forward" or what? The wedding is in Germany, so nobody knows what the heck Halloween is. forgot to mention that. So the Halloween connection would not be as much of a factor.

- y would she were a dress thats burnt....
- It definitely does! That sounds really good! You are going to make a pretty hot couple!
- Nope, not good - sounds like Halloween. Change suit to gray, navy, or brown. Add shirt in lighter shade [ pale gray, light blue, beige], and the tie, if you insist.
- hmm i think a white shirt would look better. plain black and orange would look to halloweenish.
- 1. I am not sure about the black shirt. 2. Sometimes trying to match things too much ends up looking funny and childish. So long as you two dress up well and look good together, don't try to match colors too much.
- That sounds smokin' hot! I would try to get a burnt orange tie that has a design in it, hopefully black, or even silver or white would be cool, just to add some dimension. Props to you for matching with your woman! My husband and I always match when we go to weddings, too!
