  1. Well, he has a beautiful pond and small garden, so I would set up chairs around the pond and hold the ceremony there. Then I would have a barbecue on the deck like we do with all our other parties (no matter the weather). I think I would still wear the gown I originally planned to wear, and he would wear his suit. EDIT: To be honest, I'm not sure whether one will go to your home at all. You may need to go to the court. My advice is to call. Congratulations!
  2. duncan hines "butter recipe" golden cake with real butter frosting, decorated with pink carnations have a dear friend (who knows how to cook) deal with the food. roast beef or turkey mashed potatoes, gravy, stuffing green salad baby carrots, sweet and unsweet tea good dishes good silver ware napkins cake, coffee, tea, cream, sugar
  3. I don't know how it works if you try to hire a JOP thru city hall or the court, but you can hire a nondenominational officiant online and they will do the ceremony however and whenever you tell them. A friend of mine did my wedding and it was great. You can search for officiants on weddingwire.com.
  4. Then its just a home party. Very easy. You need some food and drinks and make sure there's music to play in the background. An officiant would def. come out on a Saturday.
  5. You need to hire a JP. Most will come to any local location. Start calling some from the phone book, find out their prices and meet with them. As far as what to have, that depends on the time of day.
  6. I'd get married and then go out to eat with my families. In fact, that's what we're doing. We're getting married in a rose garden..for free...and then taking our family to lunch at a restaurant. We hired an Officiant, not jp.
  7. I would have a party with lots of booze.
