How should i wear my hair and makeup for formal?

My school is having a formal and i dont know how i should wear my hair and make up. I had big dark brown eyes.my hair is about four inches below my shoulders and last formal i wore my hair down and curled so i want something a little different this year. Any suggestions? Well, your dress is really pretty. :) Maybe you could put it in a loose bun with curls coming out. It would look really pretty. You dress is very bright and vibrant so you might want to tone the makeup down a bit. Maybe a bit of white eyeshadow with some red because the main color is blue so you want the accents to pop.
