Women Wedding Suits

I am a woman and my girlfriend wants me to wear a suit to her sister's wedding?

Well I am the tomboy in our relationship , but wearing a suit is alittle extreme . Should I just do it to make my gf happy or just be myself. Don't get me wrong I dress like a man but a suit never wore before . Thanks for any help on this .

1. its your choice girl. if you want to wear one to make her happy do it, if not tell her you are not comfortable wearing one and hope she understands

3. i suppose what she is saying is if you are going to wear trousers make them smart... like suit trousers how about a nice shirt and smart wide legged trousers? minus the jacket?
4. Make her happy and wear the suit. You should be dressed up and look nice for her sister's wedding. I would expect my partner to wear a suit to a wedding, especially if it was an evening wedding, or a very formal one. Showing your partner that you are willing to make sacrifices for her, will strengthen your relationship.
5. Do it! It is a wedding and it is her sister's wedding and she is determined to make a point to someone. So help her out, get a really well fitted suit made go to a man's tailor and get it cut to fit you not a guy you will look great and feel great and probably get more suits. Try a Nehru jacket rather than tie etc as it will be more ambiguous in style but still look wonderful.
